Brookshire Brothers is a supermarket chain with 117 stores and over 7,000 employees, headquartered in Lufkin, TX.   We were chosen to design and build their meat distribution plant.  This includes 21,842 ft² at 35’ high of cold storage for their meat cooler, 2,444 ft² at 35’ high for the de-box room, 330 ft² for an offal cooler and a 5,575 ft² meat processing room, totaling over 30,000 ft² of refrigerated space. The piping for this meat plant was all stainless steel.  This is a flooded liquid recirculation system using Ammonia (R-717A) for each room.
